Michelle Minette, MA, CHLC

Michelle is a Certified Holistic Life Coach with a Master of Arts in Psychology and complete academic and on-site training for her clinical doctorate in psychology. Her career path has provided her with opportunities to learn in various settings, including but not limited to pediatric hospital psychiatric inpatient and residential units, school-based psychology programs, prisoner psychological assessment and risk evaluation, psychological diagnostics, personality assessments, neuropsychological evaluation consultations in adult psychiatric hospitals, experiential therapy, forensic psychological reports and collateral investigation, and gender and sexually diverse cultural competency and humility consultations for providers and organizations. She wrote the current Parenting Through Divorce program required in Butler County, Ohio for divorcing parents.

Through these diverse training experiences and educational opportunities, she developed a deep understanding of the impact of trauma and its complex relationship with personality disorders. She specializes in helping people heal from narcissistic abuse and toxic relationships and empowering women to identify and assert their worth in all relationships. Michelle also helps parents adjust their parenting techniques to the unique needs of their child(ren) or situation. This includes adjusting to conflict in the home, divorce, and issues surrounding gender and sexual diversity. Additionally, she works with adults and youth experiencing personal adjustment based on sexual and gender diversity.

Based on the breadth of her career training and experience, she is exceptionally equipped to empower others to break free from stagnant, unfulfilling, or challenging circumstances, both free from or related to traumatic experiences. By integrating awareness of social justice issues, intersectionality, and cultural humility, she creates a supportive environment for all clients. Her belief that undesired behaviors were once functional provides an atmosphere of acceptance and validation as you adjust your perspectives and actions to fit your present life and goals. Overall, Michelle’s work is dedicated to understanding and supporting individuals and families with unique needs that are often not recognized by other practitioners and rarely understood by friends and family. If you feel isolated because others do not or cannot understand, please reach out.
